University Fellowship of Christians and Sure Thing Agency host 10 times Golden Guitar winner Colin Buchanan live in concert for his Calvary Road Show. An evening of song, story and faith that weaves Colin’s rustic sensibility and his Christian faith in a way that is fresh, engaging and entertaining.

Colin's Calvary Road Show is an acoustic live event aimed at an adult audience (but high schoolers are welcome too!). The concert will be edifying for Christians but also a great way for those who aren't Christians to get a window into Christian beliefs, spirituality and experience.

ABOUT COLIN

In 1992 the Sydney Morning Herald declared Colin Buchanan ”simply the best singer-songwriter to emerge in the Australian Country Music scene in the last decade.” More than three decades on, that early acclaim rings true.

Colin’s career has been marked by both critical and popular success. He is a ten-time Golden Guitar winner, an ARIA recipient, and has twice taken home APRA Country Song of the Year alongside collaborators Lee Kernaghan and Garth Porter. In 2023 he was added to the Roll of Renown, Tamworth’s Hall of Fame, and in 2025 the CMAA honoured him with a Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting. His songs have been recorded by Australian country greats including Slim Dusty, Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole, and Adam Brand.

Yet Colin’s music has never been confined to country alone. A much-loved presenter on Play School, he is also one of Australia’s most successful children’s authors and the nation’s leading kids’ Christian artist.

With the Calvary Road album, Colin brought his authentic country storytelling into fresh conversation with his lifelong Christian faith. Producer Matt Fell helped craft an album of rich, resonant songs—lyrical portraits that speak of life, faith, family, hope, and mortality with honesty and heart.

On stage, Calvary Road comes alive as Colin weaves story and song into an intimate evening—by turns entertaining, moving, and deeply engaging. Distinctly Australian yet universally human, the concert celebrates faith with dirt on its boots, offering laughter, reflection, and moments that linger long after the last chord.
