How do Christians read the Old Testament with all its strange laws and shocking stories? Do they just pick and choose? Or is there some deeper logic at work? Hebrews is one the largest and richest books of the New Testament, and one of its main themes is the relationship between the Old Testament and the New: how to read the whole Bible as Christians scripture which finds its fulfilment in Christ.

Hebrews is also rightly famous for its theme of the greatness of Christ and the salvation he offers. What better way to investigate Christianity?

NB: The Warning Against Falling Away and Making Sense of Melchizedek audio was delivered at our Uni Fellowship Engage conference, addressing core members of our group. Because of this, this original audience, they may not contain as much contextual information and clarifying comments as our Citywide Gatherings.
